Hear me.... Quit trying to separate your failures, faults, sins, falls, habits, and your past from your walk with God. That same person that has failed is the same person that will prevail. That same person who has failed tests is the same one who will have a testimony. The same man that cussed for emphasis to let the world that he wasnt with Jesus is the same man that preached 50 days later to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. You may be living with guilt shame and failure and currently be wrapped up and tied up in sin but that same person who you see in the mirror is the same person who God wants to use. The demoniac could no longer speak for himself but thousands of devils spoke in unison..I am legion. Yet Jesus said I dont want someone else to minister to this community I want you. Yes you with the scars you self inflicted. Yes you the one howling at the moon in the graveyards. What a difference a moment with Jesus can make. It didnt happen tomorrow for him it happened the same day. When is your change going to come? Not tomorrow. Today. Today is the day of salvation. It always is. Tomorrow never comes. Like free crab tomorrow at Joes crab. You show up and they will say the sign says tomorrow. You have scars? Good. Self Inflicted? Good Made mistakes? Good Bad habits? Good Addictions? Good Quit TRYING to separate those things from you! Its you! But those things dont have you! When you understand that God wants you the failure then you will get the victory over those things. Today is your day!
