Hear my voice, O God, in my meditation; Preserve my life from fear of the enemy. Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked, From the rebellion of the workers of iniquity, (Psalm 64:1-2 NKJV). To understand Psalm 64:1-2, We may believe that God wants to hear only certain requests from us. While it is true that we should offer praise, confession, and respectful petitions, it is true also that God is willing to listen to anything we want to tell Him. David expressed himself honestly, knowing God would hear his voice. God will always listen attentively and will fully understand us.
