Hear ye! Hear ye! Announcing our FIRST EVER Elizabethan Buffet in June to Celebrate and Dine Divine with the Inaugural Season of the Richmond Shakespeare Festival! We are offering 3 dates! SATURDAY, June 7th; FRIDAY June 13th and SATURDAY June 14th! For those of our patrons who are interested in the Elizabethan Buffet and attending one of the two performances at the Richmond Shakespeare Festival next Saturday, June 7th (and the following weekend) - the buffet will be open from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. RSF is recommending that those attending the 2:00 pm show may wish to schedule a reservation starting at 5:00 pm or later. Yes, TASTE by Jen Ferrell has created a special menu just for this occasion: Crisp Salad of Green Beans, Roasted Beets, Gherkin Croutes and Seed Mustard Dressing Marinated Cucumber Salad Wild Game Pie topped with flaky pastry, enveloping rich game meats and root vegetables Remembrance Herb and Brie Stuffed Turkey Breast Honey Glazed Chantenay Carrots Manchet Bread and Creamery Butter English Trifle featuring cardamom pound cake, boozy creme anglaise, dark chocolate and spring strawberries Rose Petal Ice Cream with Meringue Roulade, Raspberry Sauce Banana Bombe with Coconut Toffee Sauce and Honeycomb These delightful delicacies presented in the sumptuous surroundings of The Gennett! Dinner will be served before the 2nd Friday night performance and between the two performances on each Saturday with plenty of time to travel between The Gennett and Richmond Shakespeare Festival location. And it just so happens, in one of those serendipitous ways, that the performances will be held in the Logo Pavilion Building, former home to Starr Piano and Gennett Records in the Whitewater Valley River Gorge, in Richmond, Indiana. Tables are by reservation and the Elizabethan Buffet is $24 per person, plus taxes and gratuity! Call ahead for your reservations. Wine and Beer will be available for purchase. Complimentary Iced Tea, Chocolate Sweet Tea, Coffees and Hot Teas will be served with the Buffet.
