Hear ye, Hear ye! We have rejoined the ranks of dog-people! Found the nearly exact answer to Rudys what I want in a dog list last night, we were waiting at the shelter 25 minutes early this morning, it took about 10 seconds for Rudy to say, Lets go home--with the puppy in his arms, of course. They were calling him Milo. Im sure this is perfectly good name, but he does not strike me as a Milo sort of dog, nor are we exactly Milo sort of people, so we (mostly me) are trying out a wide range of names. Right now, Im leaning toward Charlie. But it will probably take days before we (that is, I) really settle on something. And it has to be approved by Rudy. Whatever his name is, he is a beagle/golden mix, 9-10 weeks old, thinks the cats are just great (the feeling is not at all mutual...not yet, at least), he settled in withing about 10 minutes, and has rearranged all the cat beds, dog beds, blankies, etc. he can. And is now sound asleep on the recliner between my legs, as Rudy snoozes in the other recliner. Id post a foto, but cant reach my phone or camera. There has not been so much energy in this place since we moved in! Sigh... And alls right with the world!!!
