Heard a couple farmers say they will start combining field corn this Monday. Some soybean fields are turning yellow too but it will take a couple weeks before the beans will be harvested. Some of the MO river bottom farmers started combing corn last Monday and the corn has been yielding pretty good yields. Saw a deer come out of the field on the road and cross the bridge, i thought that was unusual to cross the bridge. Tomorrow is my last day to dog sit for some friends, the dogs seems to wander farther and farther away when i let them loose. They sure do like to be petted and have a bacon snack. Mom went to hear some singing across the river, it was the piano tuning man. I got a haircut today & beard trim. I should have not trimmed my beard cause it is getting cooler. I like the Fall. Read a book today written by a 2nd cousin about heritage and the changing times. Got some new photos of the grandchildren, they are growing. Tomorrow is Church, i am looking forward to Church.
