Heard about a really cool charity on the news tonight. its called " The Mission Continues". It was founded by an Iraqi war veteran. The program accepts only vets, and takes soldiers who have, in many cases, been medically discharged, and puts them to work in their communities building houses and community centers. The point is to teach these honored warfighters new skills that will help them get jobs in the private sector, and to help them continue to serve their community. Most importantly, it helps to heal the physical and emotional wounds of our returning heroes. They have proven that the effects of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) have been minimized thanks to this program.
