Heard last nite that the pyro show in Valley Falls blew up, injuring 2 seriously and several minor injuries. Watchin the news this mornin, a show in California had problems with several injured. I remember our training and there is always the possibility of something going wrong. The minimum required attire is a hard hat, safety glasses and long sleeve shirt. We have always worn full bunker gear, helmet with face shield and gloves. It may not totally protect us in the event of a catastophic failure but its waaaay better than the minimums!! Plus, we generally tend to be overly cautious which could explain why we havent had any problems on the shoots weve done!
