Heard so many people blabbing and making ao much noise about Gen Buhari being too old to rule and that he should go and rest and allow the younger people do the job.Infact they say the older generation have failed us.And I ask.Which younger generation are they talking about?Salisu Buhari who rode to become the Speaker of the House of Reps with a fake result?Or the now imprisoned James Ibori or the EFCC sought after Lucky Igbinedion or Nuhu Ribadu who once called Tinubu the biggest thief in Nigeria and still went into a political romance with him years later?Just tell me.A younger generation of thieves,ritualists and corrupt individuals?Isnt it the same generation that makes up the majority in the House of Reps?Who are just there for their own pockets and corner our commonwealth in the name of jumbo take-home pay?Even learnt some also ranting and telling use to allow women take over the job of leadership since the men have failed.Which women are we talking about?The likes of Stella Oduah of the Aviation Ministry or Oteh of SEC?Or Diezanni Allison Madueke of the petroleum ministry or Okonjo Iwealla who in conjunction with the IMF have further impoverished us?The issue with us as Nigerians is we are so corrupt.A typical Nigerian is a potential thief who will steal the nations commonwealth if given the chance.This isnt about generational or gender shift in leadership.Its about each person beginning to see that change in him/herself.To stop seeing an opportunity to serve as a chance to loot and acquire what isnt rightfully yours.
