Heart is broken today. House is so empty without my puppy dog. We appreciate all of the kind words and know time will slowly heal our hearts but for now it is so raw of an emotion to have lost a companion that gave nothing but unconditional love and asked for nothing in return. So many tears that just cant seem to stop flowing as we move through the day. Mabel was with us for almost half of our married life. Always there with all of her personality traits keeping us company and always making us feel needed and wanted. We know the decision was right and that she is in a far better place and that she is at peace. Now we just need to work through our personal grief. What a sad, sad day, and all because she was such a wonderful dog, and such a wonderful friend, she was family. Grant.
