Heart up date: Hello everyone. The Dr visit went very well this morning, and a few items need be explored with my present heart versus a transplant right now. As most know I have had a pace maker/de-fib implant for several years and am on the second one. I will undergo several lab and an angiogram in the neck to go to the right side of the heart. This will gain knowledge about the use of a Cadillac new pace maker with 3 wires in it rather than just 2 which I have now. The Dr drew a line on paper from zero to past heart transplant and he is in the understanding that I am presently in the middle of that time line rather than the end of it. Well now that works for me. Along with this he is stream lining my meds so I can get back from this existing to actually living a life style. Most also know that I like wearing my robe and more than one joke has come about from that fact. Grin. This past month I have been so down and the way I was taking my meds, virtually was keeping me in the robe 24/7. Nope, not going to happen that way. So we will work with that. It seems that I have slipped from 34% use of my heart to somewhere between 15 to 25 % and the Dr has already started working on that BS and adding another new meds to my arsenal but he also cut another med in 1/2. Then the Dr looked directly at Charolette and said, rather matter of factually, that I was only 66 and too young and the panel of Drs and he will see to it that Charolette is going to have me around for years to come. Ok then I can own that for sure! I have already lost 20 pounds and over the next 3 months I have orders to lose 5 pounds per month for a total of 15 at the end of 3 months. Working on it! Smile Am sure glad I have 3 sizes of clothes in my closet. Well, kids that is about it for now. Thank you one and all for being there for me with moral support and prayers. And to Ernie and Bim, thank you Brothers for walking with me, side by side through this process. I am rich in the people that I know and I believe that God has blessed me with that
