Heart warming. I love MOST animals, and certainly all dogs...but pits will always hold a special place in my heart! Good to see some positive news about them. Theres actually quite a lot of positive news about pits, but its never in the mainstream news outlets....the only time they talk about pits is either when a dog-fighting ring has been discovered or on the RARE occasion that a pit attacks unprovoked. Look at statistics. Pits are one of the breeds of dogs LEAST likely to bite....they simply get a bad rap because if/when they DO bite....they do damage. They are incredibly strong and theyre jaws are no exception. In actuality, last I checked, I believe it was dalmatians that were most likely to bite....but you dont see anyone trying to ban them. Breed-ism is as bad as racism. Its the exact same thing. Blaming a whole set of people for the misdeeds/PERCEIVED misdeeds of a few. Dont judge a book by its cover, dont judge a person by their race, and dont judge a dog by its breed......judge everyone and everything ONLY by their individual characteristics. BSL (Breed Specific Legislation) is BS! End rant.
