Hearthstone is joining Intel Extreme Masters World Championship in Katowice. An EU Esport event. It looks like there will be 4 days of game play to Qualify for 2 spots in a 4 player final. This is the 2nd major on site event for Hearthstone. Hearthstone is being played thru other gaming online organizing. Major League Gaming and ESL have been running events online for some time now. I have played in ESLs bi-weekly events and think their system while clunky at time is run by people that really want these online events to work and become a new norm. Now I havent had a drop game yet in any of my ESL games. This is something I have suffered in just my normal everyday questing grind and ranked play and I think these crashes which can happen at anytime for any number of reasons is the weakest part of online gaming when compared to playing a real card game. I sure there is something that can be done to ensure this wont happen when big money is on the line. Again... reason to have large Esport events onsite in a control location. So how many Esports events have you played in. If you havent tryed an Esport tournament yet, would you?
