Heartland Honor Flight Welcome Home 7 Oct 2014 2100 U.S. Airways KCI, Terminal C, Gate 79 Heartland Honor Flight is conducting another flight for World War II veterans, Tues., Oct 7. The event organizers are offering Everyone the opportunity to volunteer to help welcome home these returning heroes from the Greatest Generation. Those who want to volunteer to greet the Veterans after their return flight to KCI should arrive at KCI NLT 2100. They will arrive at Terminal C, U.S. Air, Gate 79 at approximately 2115. This is an opportunity for Anyone to give back the thanks and warm wishes to service members who have come before them. This flight will consist of 90 WWII and Korean War veterans as well as 50 veterans from Vietnam, Desert Storm, OIF and OEF as escorts. Heartland Honor Flight is a not-for-profit organization that charters flights to Washington D.C. for the World War II veterans to visit the national World War II memorial.
