Hearty applause for the voters of Oklahoma County! In the Democratic Primary for U.S. Congress in CD5, Oklahoma County citizens gave 8,897 votes to Tom Guild. Tom carried Oklahoma County by a margin of 6.6% and by a 1,485 vote margin. We are grateful for the leadership of Mike Dover, Eunice Russell, Gonzalo Guaman, Susan McCann, and Ismat Esrar, our Campaign Co-Chairs who live in Oklahoma County. We feel fortunate to have so many friends in the county. We appreciate the strong vote of confidence that we received in Oklahoma County! We carried Oklahoma, Pottawatomie, and Seminole Counties, the three counties in CD5, and had a margin in all three counties combined of 3,096 votes in the congressional district.
