Heather Lasson Lewis and Ryan...I just wanted to share with you a touching moment for me here in Texas. I was asked to sing in church this Sunday. Knowing it is the month of Pioneer Day I chose to sing Come, Come Ye Saints. The solo I picked had some really tricky rhythms and I had been concentrating on that, not the words. Even the piano player was getting frustrated at the rhythms and we were cracking each other up. Once we got it all worked out, we ran through it one last time. For the first time during practice, I listened to the words and let the spirit guide me on how I should sing the song. I broke down midway through the song with pictures of your Makenzie Lewis in my head. And the spirit whispered to me that this song is not just about the pioneers, but about each of us in our trials we face. But I feel the comfort The Lord assures us through this song, All is well! All is well!
