Heather asks: I asked for advice on how to get the nurse at my doctors office to call in my medicines in a timely matter a few days ago. I have a huge problem with her. She called my pain and seizure meds in 8 days late last month. Well, I had a doctors appointment today. I get there only to find out that my doctor is sick and the office didnt call me to cancel my appointment. You all know how long it takes us fibro sufferers to even get ready to go anywhere. Im at my breaking point. I understand doctors get sick. That is not my issue. My issue is with the drs office not at least calling to reschedule my appointment and checking to see if I need any refills on medicines. I did tell the office clerk what I needed. There was also another man there doing the same -they didnt call him either. I have to find a new doctor. A doctor that treats my fibro and my other issues. Im sick of this. I walked out if the office empty handed today. The nurse is supposed to call in the meds like she said she would last month-and she did 8 DAYS LATE. I need help finding a new doctor. I live near the Birmingham/Tuscaloosa, AL. OR some help with how to research doctors that treat fm in my area. I simply am fed up. -Misty
