Heaven claimed another HUGE piece of our hearts today. Our sweet Miss Piggy passed away from a blood clot to the brain which caused a stroke. She was on the mend from yesterdays emergency surgery to remove her spleen after a large tumor ruptured inside of it. She was doing well earlier today as she was recovering with one of our friends and faithful volunteers, when she suddenly became unresponsive. She passed away in Jules arms on the way to the EAC. She did not suffer, she went quickly and just like that our sunshine was gone. We are all in complete shock and devastated tonight with her loss. Please keep us all in your thoughts and prayers tonight and we grieve the loss of this beautiful soul. This is not the end to 2014 that we had hoped for. Pig has been with us since the beginning of this rescue and though she never found a home she always had a family. We all loved her so much and everyone that met her could not help but smile in her presence. She had the most genuinely sweetest soul and we all will miss her every single day. Our home feels empty tonight without her. Pig, We love you and will miss you dearly! We pray you can jump in leaps and bounds, have an enormous couch of your own and find a kissing buddy who enjoys long kissing sessions as much as you do. We know all of our furry friends, that have left us too soon, now have a new best friend to play and wrestle with. Their party just started. Run free baby girl. Sooie, sweet Pig, sooie....
