Heaven is for Real. What if they most supernatural aspects of your religion were confirmed by a 4 year old? This movie wrestles with that premise and never finds an answer. When a pastors son nearly dies, he claims to have visited Heaven. It causes fear and doubt in the small community in Nebraska. Where this movie went wrong was that it wasnt clear about if it believe if Heaven was/is real. Its a realistic story,but it never accomplish the impact it wants people to feel by the end of the movie. The final scene seems more like a Hallmark ending than a movie ending. I wanted to like this movie but it didnt give me enough to support it. Too bad. Grade C.
