Heavenly Creator of the Universe, I come to kneel before You this hour in quiet honor of Your Presence. I want to thank You for awakening me this day. I want to lift up Praise to You for the many, many blessings that You grant me each day. I am thankful that You have brushed the sleep from my eyes and breathed the breath of life into me for another day. My heart is filled to overflowing with the blessings that You have freely placed in my life, Lord. You have granted me six wonderful children to fill my early years. A loving husband to share my life, precious grand children and great grandchildren to liven up my days. Father, You have given me a comfortable home to rest my head and a job where I can serve others and I am forever grateful. Father, I know that I have done nothing to deserve these blessings as I fail You daily and still You provide for my every need. Father, I pray that You will forgive me of my sinful ways and guide me on this journey today. I pray that Your will not mine be done in my life. Father, I pray that I will trust You in my journey and lay down before You my tribulations and leave them with You. Father, I ask that Your Loving Presence be seen in me and that I live my life for You. Father, I do ask that You place Your Holy Spirit within my children and my grandchildren. Help them Lord to hear Your Precious voice calling to them. Help them obey and come into Your service. Father help them to seek You and long to serve You now and forever. Lord, I have many still suffering on my prayer list this day. I ask that You place Your healing hands upon them and heal their broken and diseased bodies and souls. Lord, I know that You have been with Megan Reynolds and Kenney on their journey through this tough time and I pray that You will just continue to bless them and heal their bodies. Father, I ask that You take the hands of those who are lost within their own minds. Lead them back to us, Lord. Father, with Your blessed mercies, hear the cries of those who are suffering from loss this hour. Wrap them in Your loving arms and carry them through the darkness of this day into the Light of a new day that You have freely given to them. Father, I pray that You will bless those who are lost in sin, place Your loving Holy Spirit within them and help them to long to serve You and lift up Your name in praise. Lord, I ask for blessings for those who are serving our nation. Father, I ask that You take their right hands and walk with them on their journey today and bring them home safely. Lord, our nation continues to walk in sin. I ask that You be with each of our leaders. Place Your Spirit within them and help them to focus on You and long to do Your will. Father, please be with Obama today. Speak with him each day as he arises and help him to understand Your will. Help him to learn who You are and follow the path that You have set. Father, I pray for his soul and ask that You bless him with Your blessed Spirit. Father, I ask that You will help us to seek You and Your will. Help us to yield to Your will and fall down before You to worship You in all Your glory. Help us to seek to please You and to find favor once more in Your sight. Father, God, I lift up these simple words in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, as You have commanded of Your servant. Praise be to God, in the highest. Amen
