Heavenly Father is wonderful. He is my counselor, my friend, my physician, and my hero. Oh how I have grown to love him. He has made me his daughter, and He my Father in heaven. I have a request for today, and every day after from all who hear this message. Please remember that there is not ever too much good in this World. Please do all you can for others in kindness whenever you can beyond what we are formally asked to do. If you already do this, thats wonderful. If not, now is a great time to start, and I know Heavenly Father smiles upon us when we love one another. Please remember that we all can do acts of kindness for others beyond what our church organizations do. We should support our churches too, of course, but I know that The Lord expects us all to act on our own as well, and I am...with the help of many loving people. I received a comment regarding possibly stepping on toes within what our Relief Society organizes for good will to others, etc. Please stop. Everything I have done has brought all involved closer together, not further apart. I am saddened that anyone would feel divided at all. That comes from the adversary, not Heavenly Father. I can not attend many functions in my ward like I used to. I work so much. I have however, with great ideas from others, found a way that I can give, and help...and many many others have been given another opportunity to help another as well. I will not tolerate the adversary rearing his head into what is sweet kindness from the spirit, in the preparation by many, a wonderful Christmas dinner for a family as a kind uplifting gift of food, but really....it is about love. Please....everyone of us should do as much as we can whenever we can to uplift others. Members of the church or non members alike. This is not about stepping on toes, leaving people out....or division. Not ever. This is about anyone wanting to cook a dish for a beautiful Christmas dinner to be delivered to a family just to show love, and uplift. This idea came about after putting together the Thanksgiving dinner for a family in the ward..just to uplift, and say we love you. It was that family that felt the Spirit, read my very thoughts too, and said, we should do this very thing for others. Doing this for others not just when tragedy strikes. Those are very needed times to help, yes, but this is a bit different. This is just because we love you dinners. The Savior would do this too if he were here. That is all this really is. My version of emulating an act the Savior would do for others. This idea is not mine. This comes from The Lord, and I know it. He gets the glory in this. Please, involve yourself in this event if you would like to. I know the recipient family will be so thankful, and I know that Heavenly Father will smile like he did at the delivery of the Thanksgiving dinner. This is not about division. This is not about stepping on toes. Please look at some of what this World needs, and you will see that if I did this every single day of the week, it wouldnt be enough, or too much. If we all did this every day it could never be too much or enough. We need to be doing many acts of love and kindness all the time. This is what Christmas is about. I am only doing as I was prompted to do, and this is one way that I can help spread the Saviors light. This is truly His. Please let go of any hard feelings you may have for whatever reasons they may be....and join those of us doing this in love, and kindness. We would love to have as many as would like to help do so. :) we would even love suggestions for singles, shut-ins, or families that you may know locally to bless with a dinner. We will be doing this style dinner for Easter as well, and others at various times throughout the year. There could not be too many Christmas dinner food dishes prepared. If that were to happen...we would just pick a second family, and deliver them a wonderful full course dinner too! To spread more light would only be even better! Forgive me for my wordings. As sometimes, I offend, and do not mean to. What Myself, and many others are putting together is out of love, and nothing else. It is to bless, and uplift. It is to say, we love you. It is to bring Heavenly Fathers light and goodness to others. I will have a card to sign this time for all those that would like to sign a Christmas card for the family. Those that desire to remain anonymous can do so as well. I am so grateful to all those that are helping with this Christmas dinner, and I certainly want all to receive recognition for their wonderful gift from the heart to another family. Thank you!
