Heavenly Father, we praise your holy and precious name. Today we thank you for Assistant Police Chief Bud Corbett from Pasadena, Texas. As he prepares for his retirement, draw him ever closer to you. Help him through this transition in life, making your path for him clear and straight. May he continue to lead others by providing a positive influence and example in the lives of those around him. Protect him from evil, deception, and harm. May you receive glory and honor from his life in the police department and in retirement. Grant him wisdom as he prepares to transition his work responsibilities and prepare the person who will take over his duties. In Jesus Christ’s name we pray, amen.
