Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your great love; You are so good to us. We lift up to You today those who are hurting emotionally. Psalm 147:3 (NIV) tells us that You heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds. We call upon that word for our friends and family who are hurting. We ask that You would soothe, comfort, and heal them on the inside. Hold them together, Lord, where they feel like they are coming apart at the seams. We ask that You would strengthen them deep on the inside, where the ache is so big. Fill in the empty spaces with Your presence. May they hear You today, calling to them above the clamor of sorrow, hurt, and pain, calling them into Your arms. Thank You for hearing our prayers, and for caring for those we love so much. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray.
