Heaviness in the HEART of MAN maketh it Stoop: But a GOOD - TopicsExpress

Heaviness in the HEART of MAN maketh it Stoop: But a GOOD WORD maketh it GLAD The SPIRIT of a MAN WILL Sustain his infirmity; BUT a WOUNDED SPIRIT who can BEAR? A Merry HEART maketh a Cheerful Vountenance: But by Sorrow of the HEART The Spirit is Broken. The HEART knows its own Pain and Bitterness, and NO Outsider Shares in its Joy. Oh that my Grief were throughly Weighed, and My Calamity Laid in the Balances together! Even today my Complaint is Bitter; His hand is heavy in spite of my groaning. It would surely Outweigh the Sand of the SEAS No Wonder my Words have been IMPETUOUS. If only my ANGUISH could be WEIGHED and all my MISERY be Placed on the Scales! HOPE DEFERRED MAKETH the HEART SICK BUT WHEN the DESIRE COMES IT IS A TREE of LIFE.
