Duties for the Heavy Forklift Operator include, but are not limited to: Operates a 30K-65K capacity forklift using proper techniques and safety procedures. Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery. Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles. Perform routine maintenance on vehicles or auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries, fueling, or replacing liquefied-gas tank. Requirements for the Heavy Forklift Operator: Must have previous experience handling material such as: Steel Rebar and Long Pipe. Valid OSHA certificate(s) of training for use of equipment, as required. Hard-working and strong work ethic.
