Heavy rain has resulted in the closure of the Lower Hollyford Rd from Gunns Camp, due to flood waters across the road in the vicinity of the airstrip. The road closed at 9.30 this morning and conditions are being monitored. Work is being undertaken by contractors to redirect the water course at Deadmans Creek with the expectation this will alleviate the flooding and enable the road to reopen. Further rain is expected overnight - although less intense.
