Hebrews 10:37 And yet in a very little while, He who is coming will come, and will not delay.. I was reading this a few days ago and it shook me to the core. He is coming soon. Which after reading the previous verses about suffering, tribulations, showing sympathy to prisoners, and the fact that their property was seized sounded all too familiar. It sounds like the direction our country is headed. He encouraged them that they would have a better possession and a lasting one, and to endure and not throw away their confidence. And then the good news, that He will come soon. Jesus often told His disciples of trouble ahead. He always instructed that they not fear, keep trusting, and yet follow Him. Our leaders seem to be leading us further from God by the day. Who knows what the next few years will bring. I do think our prayers, votes and evangelism efforts can get us back on track, but if all else fails we could likely see Him come very soon. Coming for His bride. Taking us out of this horrible mess man has made. And taking us to that better possession after our property has been confiscated here. But seeing Him will make all this tribulation, grief and struggle for righteousness worth it all.
