Hebrews (11:8) 8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. Hebrews (11:8) ESV Where has your faith taken you, has it taken you to places that you never dreamed of going, given you blessing that you never expected? Has it altered your perception of God? Often times we only call on faith when faced with the impossible, but God wants us to have faith in Him always. We stretch out in faith, sometimes seeing, sometimes dreaming, sometimes having a vision of the things God wants us to accomplish and then question the power of God to make it come to pass. We run into negative opposition and negative people saying things like “good luck with that, or that is never going to happen” as you read this chapter it tells of people in the bible that God commanded and commended when they displayed faith and obeyed his word. They pushed forward in-spite of negativity and when faced with the impossible called upon God and believed. You see God counted these people as righteous because of their faith, knowing that when faced with self doubt and a challenge that they would not alter their perception or give in to doubt. Dare to follow your dreams, if it is in Gods plans for you then they will come to pass this is what it means to turn your will and your life over to God. In the book of Mark chapter 3 Jesus entered into the synagogue and came across a man with a withered hand and in the face of opposition said to the man stretch forth thy hand and by faith the man did and by faith his hand was restored to its former glory and future abundance. Stretch forth do not become complacent in your dreams God has so much more in store in his plans for each of us when we step out in faith as He commands we will be commended by the fullness of His Grace. Today’s prayer: Heavenly father first and for most we thank you for the gift of Christ, we thank you father for thy abundant grace. We pray father that you will provide motivation and momentum as we pursue thy will. We pray heavenly father that through our obedience that we have the courage to step out in faith. Heavenly father we stretch forth our hands to you, believing that you will restore them to the fullness of thy grace. We pray for the hungry, the sick, and the lame. We receive in faith that you will touch, heal, guide and restore by thy will and in Jesus’ name. Amen Today’s challenge: Is to step out of your comfort zone don’t settle for good enough pursue your dreams and let God take you where he needs you to be. God loves us and Jesus saves and may the Holy Spirit see you and I shinning in the light of the Lord each and every day. This week’s memory verse: Micah (6:8) 8 He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, and to love kindness and mercy, and to humble yourself and walk humbly with your God? Micah (6:8) AMP Love God, love people and live well in Christ, all for the glory of God. Love to all. (Uncle Sam)
