Hebrews 12:5-6 And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons? My son do not regard lightly the discipline of The Lord, nor be weary when reproved by him. 6For The Lord disciplines the ones he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives.--I encourage you to read the rest of this chapter. Sadly today we leave in an emotionally immature, weak, winey baby society that doesnt appreciate but rather despises correction. Our society is full of rebellion and this deception has creeped in to the church where ppl think that correction and rebuke is not from God, not love and will throw a fit and scream verbal abuse at the first sign of it. They will tell you that its not politically correct and its not how jesus loved, that he loves them and accepts them for who they are and you have to do the same. How ever this is DECEPTION. Jesus loves us despite who we are but does not accept all the ways we are. In fact he died and shed his blood to change who we were to form us into his image. We do not always act like or new created nature but praise God in his grace and love he has chosen to correct us day by day to make us look more like his son
