Hector was one of NFL quarterback Michael Vicks victims of cruelty as a fighting dog. The dogs were rescued and given a chance to live a happy, full life. He was one of the lucky ones. He passed the Canine Good Citizen test twice, and became a Certified Therapy Dog to visit nursing homes and hospitals. He also went to schools to help teach children how to act safely around dogs. He retired and got to enjoy his days going for walks and sunning in the yard. Sadly, he has passed on now. He was a great champion; a magnificent example of The TRUE Nature of The Pit Bull.
