He is a prophet so why would he ask God if he could raise a dead man to life again. and if he as a prophet with direct link to God is not trusting God, how would normal people be then? This is not about the physical life or death but about conditions of a society. It is either immobile /(dead) or prosperous with freedom (Alive) this is the confusion remained among people at all times, when a society is trapped in depths of ignorance and immobility, how and when will it come out of the oppression (caused by its condition) and gain freedom and prosperity? this is the question and query of S Abraham and then he is given the method to change the course of destruction of a society.
