Heh. Im getting so much better at reading the boys. When Cole is planning on flattening Walter in the house, his tail goes up v e r y slowly...and hes on full alert. At that point, I pull out the vinegar/water squirt bottle and give him a warning by showing it to him and saying do you want the spray?. If he makes a move towards Walter, he gets one quick squirt in the face. That does it. Of course then Walter starts jumping at Coles face and is hip-butting him to play. But Cole is being very good...theyll just bark at each other and have mouth wars. Walter gets up on the love seat to be at an equal height, and they play nicely that way for about 5 mins, then Cole gets bored. haha I havent mastered the outdoor flattening when Walter runs to me yet (even when I call him...Cole, I guess, thinks he needs to protect his mommy from the wild child). That only happens about 3x then once again, Cole gets bored, lays down and all is fine and dandy.
