Heh ladies, does anyone carry a mid sized handgun on the trail? If you prefer to not holster carry, I have an offer, I have an older gun purse, an upright style with gun compartment, a style I have carried off duty for about twenty years. It is leather and I tossed them for so many years when the finish started getting yakky, but I really hate getting rid of useable stuff anymore now that I am learning to live in my retirement budget. Offering it for free if you pay for shipping and I will even modify it into a horn or cantle bag, just to see if it would work. Bag has five pockets, one dedicated to the holster, a slim one in the back, maybe good for money and id, a mid section big enough for a medium sized pair of binocs, a front one with card slots, and another on the very front which would easily hold a phone and Gps. Only catch, let me know how it works, been thinking about a decent custom made version for horses. Cant ride right now, back surgery, so cannot test it out...
