Height of OPTIMISM: Some Congress supporter says that Congress will win in DNH by 3500 votes by giving very vague exit poll. Let me reassure all my friends (as my enemy is yet to born) and members of various forum that there is absolutely (I repeat ABSOLUTELY) no doubt in my mind that Shri Natubhai Gomanbhai Patel from BJP will win the DNH seat with clear and comfortable margin. My thinking and belief is based on the following points. a) No one can deny the NaMo factor. Since Silvassa is the cosmopolitan city and neighbor of Gujarat, I feel Shri Narendra Modi effect will be highest here. I was there in his rally and have witnessed the passion of the huge crowd over there. This is the biggest factor. b) DNH has a distinctive record that once MP loses out he never wins again. I dont see any reason to change in this trend which is there since 1962. c) There is virtually no Anti-incumbency against Shri Natubhai Patel during is first term. d) These very people have given clear verdict in favour of BJP just four months back in Panchayat by polls. e) This was clearly a straight fight between MP and Ex-MP, BJP will have clear edge whenever there is one to one fight. f) Higher turn out. Traditionally whenever there is a higher turn out Congress loses because high turn out means more urban and elite class people have voted and they invariably votes for BJP.
