Heir Of God By Promise - Seed Of Abraham ((Covenant Under The Old Testament Law Always Involved TWO Parties Who Pledge Their Part Of The Covenant To Each Other))... But Please Notice Genesis Chapter 15..... Genesis 15:9-18 And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon. And he took unto him all these,and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not. And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away. And when the sun was going down, A DEEP SLEEP fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him. And he (God) said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; And also that nation, whom they shall serve,will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance. Abraham Said Nothing and Pledged Nothing.... In Genesis Chapter 15 We Notice That Abram Was Sound Asleep When The Covenant Was Established....God Alone Did ALL The Pledging... And Yet It Was A Valid Legal Covenant...!!! THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT……PLEASE Notice In These Verses That The ONLY Person Who Says Anything In This Covenant Is God Himself….. GOD PLEDGED BY HIMSELF Without Any Pledge From Abraham.... ((This Is A Brand New Idea In The Old Testament Spiritual Economy Of God….. A Covenant With ONLY ONE PARTY PLEDGING..!!)) The Law That Came 430 Years After Abraham Will Never Cancel or Nullify The Covenant Of Grace and Has Nothing To Do With The Validity or Integrity Of The Grace Covenant Given To Abraham and Implemented For All Who Believe.... By Jesus Christ..!! We Christians Are Part Of The Very Covenant God Made With Abraham..... A Different Type Of Covenant..... Not Like The Old Covenant...... That For Us Depended Upon Us To Obey and Perform Covenant Works...... But This Abrahamic Covenant Is Different..... God Himself Established The Covenant and Guarantees It To Us BY HIMSELF ALONE..... Pledging To Us That He Himself Will Be The Faithful One..... Causing The Covenant To Be Sure and Steadfast To All Who Believe and Trust In Jesus Christ.... Pledging To Us That The Indwelling God In Us..... (The Holy Ghost/The Spirit Of The Son).... Will Conform Us To The Image Of Jesus Christ and Make Us Faithful To The Covenant Of Faith and Grace... Our Part Simply Being To Trust What God Has Accomplished For Us In His Son Jesus Christ..!!
