Hej! This is Fernando, the guy behind the bass, and here are my three Roskilde recommendatios: -The Dillinger Escape Plan. Ok, these guys might be a bit extreme and he definitely yells too much, but the music they make its simply awesome. Behind all that noise that they might seem to do, there are some beautiful (yes, “beautiful”) melodies and guitar riffs and jazzy solos that if you have a proper earplugs will totally delight you. Also their performance live it’s one of the most impressive and “in your face” that you will ever see. So remember to also bring a helmet. youtube/watch?v=iixTxT3D6b0 -My Bubba. But if in the other hand you are tired of loud drums, distortions and hairy dudes, then you should stop by the concert of My bubba. A two piece band of folky country lullaby songs that without any doubt will make the most “hygge” concert of the festival. Beautiful voices, old school vintage intruments and hey, they even make funny jokes on stage! youtube/watch?v=tDHB8y0eNwA youtube/watch?v=bL3mlGH7RKc -Queens of the Stone Age. All of you know Queens of the Stone Age and you all know how much they rock. But… did you know that they are bringing Jon Theodore on drums? That’s my recommendation: go to the show just to see this drummer. For those who don’t know him, he was the drummer of the three first albums of The Mars Volta and… well, there is not much to say about him. Best drummer live since Bonham? Probably. Can’t wait to see how “Song for the dead” or “No one knows” sound in his hands. youtube/watch?v=F2bYsvk6kLU (Jon Theodore with The Mars Volta) youtube/watch?v=U8AotKTsU0s (Jon Theodore with QOTSA) Take care and be good!
