Held to before... Your after maybe ignored! Man this touched - TopicsExpress

Held to before... Your after maybe ignored! Man this touched such a sensitive subject for me personally. I couldnt help but pause and look and read it again. When I was younger and much wilder I did some pretty wild things. I never cared what people thought and what was said about me. I lived life to the fullest for me and for me only. What I thought was living or what I could identify with what was living was leaving a trail behind me. It created memories for others and opinions as well. Then I grew up and became a much better man and a much better father. The interesting thing about it all is through all the great change God gave me people still only look at me as they did years ago. Some even look at me as if its high school. Society has taught people that your past is your present or what you did in your past is who you are. That is completely wrong. Who you are is who you are daily. God creates change in people and for those who spend time looking in the old mirror they miss the new picture. Jesus excepted all people. In doing so people watched him and formulated an opinion with out knowing exactly who he was. No matter how much great he did they still tried to pin him to the people he associated with. Jesus wasnt bad at all but the people doubted him because of what was rumored and believed to be seen. My point is this, no matter what you do people will formulate an opinion of you and hold you to that no matter how great you may become or already is. No one is perfect but individuals love to hold others to there past or to a perfect standard as if their lives have been mistake or error free. No one has a perfect past. If you wouldnt want to be known or held to your mistakes then dont do it to others. Life is about growing and becoming a better you daily. Everyday is a new experience and everyone should be a new or should I say be a better person daily, so who you were yesterday isnt who you are today or tomorrow! Have a great day and know that what she/he did last year may not be who they are this year! Know the new person and let go of the old P.E.H. When the Son of Man came, he ate and drank, and everyone said, ‘Look at this man! He is a glutton and a drinker, a friend of tax collectors and other outcasts!’ Gods wisdom, however, is shown to be true by its results.” (Matthew 11:19 GNB)
