Helen Keller was right. Life is a daring adventure or nothing! It is with gratitude, exuberance and a sense of adventure that I fly off to Kuala Lumpur tomorrow to compete in the World Championship of Public Speaking. This adventure would have amounted to nothing without the counsel and candor I received from Jim Key, Angela Louie, Renee Jacobs, Ian Cunliffe, Chris Kozakowski, Gene Vickers, Rajula Gupta, Alan Warburton, Heidi Thompson, Valerie Adolph, Darren Frew, Dorothea Hendricks, Myrna Taylor, Jamie MacDonald, Jan Cooper and Andy Krieger. In addition, the D21 and D96 leaders, the numerous Clubs that opened their Clubs and their hearts to me, and my own Clubs (Advanced Aurators, Quay Speakers, Advanced Leaders Lab and Toast’teryx) have gone over and beyond to get me primed and primped. Thank you all! The adventure has already been rewarding beyond measure. The best is yet to come. I am possible.
