Hell day today!!! Went to go pick up 4 Basset Hounds and my truck overheated and broke down and phone went dead with all four inside. Had to have a friend push my truck to a vets to get the dogs inside. Thank you Alisha Smith and Michelle Moone Smith for meeting me at the vet. Vet results and dog update: Puppy - 3 months old. Could be a Basset/Walker mix. Parvo was ruled out. Skin dermatitis on his belly, ear infection and fleas. Tummy upset from wormer and travel. Loved Alisha. Senior: Amazingly the old guy is not that bad. Heart sounded good and strong, he didnt find anything to be concerned with. He is underweight, ear infection, Age approx 9, mostly he has flea allergies and has probably lived with them his whole life. He feels his teeth are warn down because of scratching. He does have a growth on his shoulder that can easily be removed. He would suggest a dental and if you wanted to bother with a neuter and remove that at the same time. Got some medicated shampoo, ear antibiotics and all vaccinations. Sweet boy. Just wants to love and lay somewhere soft. Banjo - Male Basset with a capitalB. Super awesome guy. Very friendly. Loves everyone!! Never met a stranger. Just a great big old lover boy. Penny - Penny looks and acts so much like my Lilly did. I kept calling her Lilly. She is healthy as a horse and stubborn as a mule. Penny is the boss and she is gonna do what Penny wants. She is a stinker and is going to be a hoot. She came with a list of instructions. What Penny likes and doesnt like. When and how Penny likes things done. Stuff like: Penny likes ice. Penny does not eat chewies from China. Penny likes to go out between such and such hours, Penny likes something to chew. Penny doesnt like to be picked up. Penny is going to be a riot for someone.
