Hell is the english word for a Prison in the Bowels of the Earth which is death row where you go when you die if your Name if not written in the Lambs Book of Life. If you prefer to use the greek or hebrew name for hell that does not negate the fact that Hell is real and is a literal prison where people who died lost are being held awaiting Judgement Day. You remain there until final sentencing at the Great White Throne Judgement to then be cast into the Lake of Fire which is the second death. Purgatory does not exist and so if you think you can die in sin and get a second chance that is deception. if you go to hell it is because you rejected the one who gave His Life to pay for our sins so you and I would not have to go to Hell - His Name is Jesus Christ who is the only Name written under heaven by which men can be saved and avoid hell and the lake of fire.
