Hell of a first walk of the year for Dime... Long story short, there was a Shar-pei/English Mastiff mix there that was almost Dimes size. I told the guy that I really didnt want them to meet. He opened the car door and the dog sniffed Dimes junk, and that was it!!! FIGHT ON! Dime opened up the dogs eye(deep and wide) and took a small chunk out of his nose, and some punctures on his neck... Dime suffered a really tiny scrape on his lower lip, I am sure that it was self inflicted by his top canine tooth. The gentleman and his wife apologized over and over, while their poor dog was pouring blood in the back seat! She assured me that the wounds were superficial, but I still feel bad about their dog. Dime is twice the dogs age too...This could have ended worse, than it did. For Dime. Moral of this story? Old age and treachery will always beat youth and exuberance. The older the Bull, the stiffer the horn.
