Hell yeah to this awesome craigs-lister: I am one of many - TopicsExpress

Hell yeah to this awesome craigs-lister: I am one of many people out there looking for a ticket to attend Burning Man. Based on demand, these tickets COULD go for much more than their cost of $380, but its pretty much a no-no to scalp burningman tickets for more than face value (out of principle, but also because the organizers are actively canceling scalped tickets). Heres my offer: If Im to attend I require a single ticket and have about $530 I could reasonably budget to make this happen. So what Id like to do is pay you, the ticket holder, the face value cost (380 and whatever other fees are associated with acquiring the ticket) and then make a $150 donation to a charity of your choice. I am fully ready to roll out to the playa and youd be giving the ticket to someone who intends to contribute again to BRC, not just checklist the event as part of some cultural tourism kick. Happy to complete requested playa mission(s) on your behalf if you want to live vicariously through my attendance. All this talk about I NEED TO GO or To go back home sounds like a bunch of shanti BS by sparkle-ponies. If I cant make it out there this year, so be it; the hysteria of attendance and desperation over it runs counter to the very spirit of such an event. If this sounds well and good I just ask that you be a real legit human with a facebook, linkedin or something like that to ensure Im not sending a bunch of money to a slimey fly-by-night scammer. Cash, Venmo, Paypal etc.. ready to go!
