Hell, yes, I expect bad reviews. I think all authors should, - TopicsExpress

Hell, yes, I expect bad reviews. I think all authors should, because your book is not going to be for everyone, and readers tend to sometimes take it personally when they dont like your work. That said, I think bad reviews should be informative, letting potential readers know why they too might not like the book. That is why a review I saw this morning for one of my books was really lame, and I wish I could review their review. It said this: pan (one-star) too much yuk. Seriously? What does that tell a reader? Nothing. What exactly IS yuk (aside from being a misspelling)? Sh*t like this p*sses me off beyond imagining. As I said, I expect bad reviews, but Id like them to inform readers. This only tells readers that someone immature didnt like my book, but only heaven knows why. Done with my rant for the day. :/
