Hello! :-) I Just wanted to give you an update about whats going on this week. Gospel Cafe Update: While were working hard at looking at properties for the Gospel Cafe Ministries first coffee house near the University of Minnesota campus, weve got some great things happening. Weve formed a separate board of directors for this Cafe, called, The Humble Cup. Were filling it full of people with real-world business experience. There are still a few spots open. So, if you are interested in participating, or want more information, please feel free to email me! tov@tovrose I am working on putting together some Benefit Concerts for Gospel Cafe Ministries. Were looking to do a big one on or around Friday, August 22nd. If you or your church would be interested in hosting a fund raising event, please let me know? The purpose of the event is not just fundraising, it is also to show off our COFFEE! Well set up a mini-Gospel Cafe in the lobby of the host churches! Additionally, I am still looking to connect with established recording artists who might want to be involved with these fund raisers, and Im using my personal network of people (like you), to help me connect with these individuals and bands. So if you have a personal connection with someone, would you please email me? Heres more about the Gospel Cafe Ministries and our vision for the events. For those interested, Ive also a promotional brochure that we give out to church leaders and business leaders that I can email separately. Gospel Cafe Ministries Benefit Concert Gospel Cafe Ministries is a new ministry focused on opening outreach coffee shops near University campuses nation-wide. Using live music and entertainment, as well as, selective marketing to draw college students to interact with our trained outreach staff and volunteers. It is a cutting edge community effort supported by numerous local churches and ministries. The emphasis on quality and a self-sustaining business model make this project unique and exciting. Gospel Cafe Ministries has raised enough funds for the initial renovations of a rental facility. Proceeds from the benefit concert will go towards equipment costs for the first coffee shop and outreach events. We anticipate the benefit concert will be the final fundraising activity necessary to open the coffee shop near the University of Minnesota campus. For these events, we will charge admission and offer advanced ticket sales. We will also advertise extensively with local Christian radio and in local churches. Interested?
