Hello - Im not sure if this is an approved thing to post, but I figured it would be a good spot to reach out to a large group of people who may have the items were looking for or know some one who does... I work for a local retailer, and this year, my store has adopted a family for Christmas - this is our opportunity to give someone a beautiful holiday, that they wouldnt have otherwise. The family we adopted is a younger couple with an infant boy that lives in an unfinished cabin with only electricity. We are raising funds to hopefully purchase items such as a mini-fridge (so that they are able to keep perishables for longer than one day), a cabinet/storage for dry food goods, building supplies (or a gift card to some place that sells them), re-fillable water storage jugs and/or a dresser or storage for clothing. This family was very practical when they listed their wants, so feel free to think outside of the box as well with items that might make their holiday a little brighter! *The mother’s favorite colors are purple, green and black. She wears a size small/medium shirts in Juniors/Misses, a size 1 pants, and size 7 Women’s in shoes. She wants/needs black slacks, black or white work tops (button-up or polo style), socks and shoes. *The father’s favorite colors are blue and black. He wears a size x-large in shirts in Men’s, a size 34X34 pants, and a size 12 ½ Men’s in shoes. He wants/needs pants, shirts, shoes and socks. *The child is a 7 month old boy, who is in 9 months or larger clothing, size 3-5 shoes and size 4 diapers – they like blue, green, black and red for him. He is in need of clothing, diapers, wipes, blankets, books/toys (up to toddler ages), and possible a jumper and/or walker. *The parents have a king-sized bed and the child’s was listed as a twin. If you would like to help us give them an amazing holiday and know someone who could give us a good deal on the items listed or would like to help with donations of the items or monies toward purchasing them, I’d be happy to come to you to pick them up!
