Hello - my name is Peanut - I was born into this world as a semi-disabled cat & have grown into a loving, chubby little doggie. You see, at birth my tail wasn’t fully developed & neither was one of my back legs. Its all good though, these things have never bothered me - I don’t even walk w/ a limp. So, I live with 2 cats and a dog named Dolly. One of my cat friends, Elvis, has always been the alpha of our pride & he takes really good care of the other cat, probably because she’s also his girlfriend, Jewel. The dynamic of their relationship has always left me slightly on the ‘outs’. Recently, however, big things have been happening in my world. This year I’ve taken a liking to a human girl that moved into our house and made her my girlfriend. She really likes that I’m always wearing my tuxedo, we really look after each other - for example, I always sniff her vitamins before she takes them to make sure everything in that beautifully sounding bottle is good for her. So, here I am now with my own human girlfriend, she’s an artist & sometimes I’ll help her out with inspiration by laying right on her canvas while she is painting. Another development that seems to be going well for me is that certain members of this house have observed characteristics pertaining to my temperament & have decided that I act far more like a dog than I am a cat. Since becoming a member of the canine family I’ve enjoyed my own promotion into Alpha status. While, my whole life, I had to wait for Elvis & Jewel to finish eating before it was my turn - since becoming a dog, I am 1st in line at the dog bowl. Dolly has fallen back and allowed me to take the alpha role. I rarely get to go on walks, but I do go and check out my favorite plant on the front porch any time one of the humans leaves the front door open. All in all, life is pretty good - hope you enjoyed my story.
