Hello All, I currently work as an After School Group Program Coordinator for the UVic Family Center (located in Family Housing). Unfortunately I am unable to fill the position for the summer months as I will be returning home. I would really like to see another CYC student take the position over. In full I would like 3 people, 1 of which will be a paid employee, the others will have to be volunteers (this decision will be based on qualifications) The program runs Wednesday afternoons from 3:30-5:00, and the attendance ranges from 5-18 school aged children. from April 2nd-June 25th. You would also need to attend some of the programs with me prior to April 2nd in order to aide in transitioning the group to a new leader. For those of you looking for some multicultural experience, or volunteer hours this would be a great opportunity.
