Hello All, this happened just about 10 minutes ago near Vedder, just before the plaza with Kokopelli, tim hortons and the shoppers. There was a Pomeranian that I saw on the sidewalk not sure if it was being taken out or what so I slowed down but not enough clearly. So the dog ran into the road and I literally slammed on my breaks and thank god the two ladies behind me in the white car were following a safe distance away. I really dont know what the right thing to do was, was I supposed to slam on my breaks for the doggy? That dog literally almost was ran over by me, by a hair it did not. So did I do the right thing slamming on my breaks and almost causing an accident?!?!? Pretty shook up about it , happy the dog is okay... saw the dogs owner come running out just after her dog almost got hit. So i honked my horn to scare the dog away!
