Hello Alums - passing along...... Call for Bands - The Randolph Recreation Arts Program (“RAP”) summer concert series Arts in the Park returns July 8, 2014 showcasing local bands performing at our beautiful Gazebo. RAP supports events in the community that encompass visual arts, musicians, actors, writers, commercial artists, folk artists and crafts people. RAP strives to contribute to the healthy growth of youth, individuals and community members in the Town by cultivating an ongoing fundamental relationship between artists and community; produce events that promote the arts; encourage cultural participation; and engage all age groups of the community. RAP programs are funded by grants and the local community. The Arts in the Park series will start on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 and continue every Tuesday through August 26, 2014. All concerts scheduled from July 8 through August 12 will start at 7:00 pm, concerts scheduled on August 19 & 26 will start at 6:30 pm. Concerts are free to attend and guests are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs. Recreation will be providing a selection of snacks and beverages for purchase at each concert, or guests may choose to bring a picnic. Performances are at the William’s Gazebo at the corner of Pleasant and North Streets, all performances are broadcast on RCTV and in the event of rain, performances will be canceled.
