Hello, As has been previously announced, the 2014 Annual Picnic will be catered. The decision to cater was made due to a lack of volunteers needed. Currently 343 have reserved and/or picked up tickets for this event. Like any other catered event, the cost will be based on our RSVP, not on how many people attend. We had a number of members who missed the RSVP deadline and are now on a waiting list for tickets. Thank you to our members who responded to the recent request to return tickets that will not be used. Those tickets were reassigned. We are asking again for anyone who may have RSVP’d or picked up tickets and are not using them to please let us know so that we may reassign those to someone who is still on a waiting list. Please check with your family members and let us know if plans have changed and they/you will not be attending. Please be aware that tickets are not transferable unless they are reassigned via the office. If you are attending the picnic, it is very important that you bring your tickets. There will be a check in table. Please proceed with your party to the table where bracelets will be exchanged individually for the tickets upon arrival. Bracelets must be worn for the buffet and will not be issued for people not present at the check in. The buffet will include hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken, corn on the cob, pasta salad, baked beans, potato salad, assorted soft drinks and water bottles. There will also be sheet cake and coffee/tea. There will be a dessert table should members wish to bring a dessert to share. You are also free to bring any table snacks for your table. Thank you
