Hello Asian Debaters! Curious about The 2015 Asian English Olympics (AEO)? Here is the updates for you! Introducing our Chief Adjudicator and Deputy Chief Adjudicators in The 2015 AEO: 1. Marchella Febryanti (BINUS University) as Chief Adjudicator. She was EFL Semi Finalist in UADC 2014 and ABP 2014, 1st runner up of NUDC Batam 2014, and 2nd runner up of Bawor Cup 2014. She also has adjudicating experiences in Jakarta Mini Debate Open, SMU Debate Open, and NUDC Palembang 2013. Besides, she also got 7th Best Speaker at NUDC Batam 2014 and Best Speaker at Bawor Cup 2014. 2. Mubarrat Wassey (International Islamic University Malaysia) as Deputy Chief Adjudicator. He is World’s Best EFL Speaker 2014! He was also an ESL Champion of Australs 2013 & 2014 and ESL Best Speaker in 2014. His judging experiences are also unquestioned. He was DCA for Asian Schools Debate Championship (ASDC) 2014 and National Novice 2014. 3. Jeff Tsai (Ateneo de Manila / Fu Jen Catholic University) as Deputy Chief Adjudicator. He was EFL Best Speaker in UADC 2013 and Best Speaker of NTU IV 2013, also he was Grand-finalist of East Asian IV 2013. He has many judging experiences, for example: Adjudication Core team for NEAO 2013 & 2014, Fuhsing-NTU Debate Open in 2014, China BP 2014, Wenzao Cup 2014, and EFL Grand-final Chair Judge for UADC 2014. 4. Aulia Anggita (Universitas Indonesia) as Deputy Chief Adjudicator. She is co-founder of Beyond Debating and has many competitions’ achievements like champion and 2nd Best Speaker of JOVED Brawijaya, ESL Quarterfinalist in UTMara Australs 2013, and 2nd Best Speaker of The 2013 AEO. She also experienced in becoming adjudicator in NUDC Kopertis 4 2014 and ALSA Unpad E-Challenge 2014. 5. Jake Bustos (University of The Philippines Los Baños) as Deputy Chief Adjudicator. He won National Debate Championship 2011 & 2013, Philippine Inter-Collegiate Debating Championship 2013 & 2012, and Grand Finalist of Intramuros International IV 2012. In judging experience, He was 5th Best Judge of UADC 2015 and also at Adjudication Core team in UTMara National Novice Championship 2014, Philippine Inter-Collegiate Debating Championship 2014, and The Great ASEAN Eco Debates 2014. 6. Lee Jing Tan (NUS / NTU) as Deputy Chief Adjudicator. She was the Champion of UNSW Australasian Women’s Debating Championship 2013 and WUPID Malaysia 2013, Semi Finalist of Beijing ABP 2013, SMU BP IV 2013, and SMU Debate Open 2014. As an adjudicator, she was at Adjudication Core team of Philippine Schools Debate Championship 2013, PetroGasDays IV 2014 (Indonesia), Great ASEAN Eco Debates 2014 (Philippines), and Australasian Womens Debating Championship 2014.
